Response 24 is Bield's 24-hour response service, which has operated since 1988. The service was initially established to provide an emergency call facility for Bield tenants during periods when the Scheme Manager was off duty. The service has grown over the years to provide for a broader range of needs to a more diverse group of users.
The majority of Response24 users are not Bield tenants. Today more than seventy housing association and local authorities utilise the services offered by Response24 extending to more than 29,000 households across Scotland.
Response24 provides a means of contacting help in an emergency at any time of the day, every day of the year. This can be help of a personal nature, eg after a fall, or property related, eg a water leak. Click here for more details of the services we provide
Response24 is fully compliant with the Telecare Services Association Code of Practice for Social Alarm Services.(formerly ASAP).
