Volunteering

Would you like to make a difference to the lives of older people? Do you want to be more involved with your community, gain valuable experience and make new friends? If the answer is yes then we would love to hear from you.

Volunteers support our residents and service users in a variety of social activities, reducing loneliness and isolation, helping them to live fulfilling lives. From befriending to supporting group activities, gardening and IT support, there’s something to suit everyone.

If you have never volunteered before please don't be shy! We have a dedicated team to guide and support you along the way. All we ask is that you are over 16, complete our induction training and e-learning and have a couple of hours to spare ideally each week.

Current Opportunities

Wherever your talents lie, volunteering with Bield will be as rewarding an experience for you as it will be for those you'll help.
