Gold Award for Bield Tenants
Tenants of Camperdown Court, Dundee are celebrating after receiving ‘Gold’ at the Elderly Accommodation Council Housing for Older People Awards.
The Tenants and Scheme Manager were presented with a Gold Award in the category of ‘Most valued scheme in Housing’ for the design of the development for use by tenants.
Lorraine Leckie, Scheme Manager at Camperdown Court accepted a cheque for £250 on behalf of the tenants. Lorraine said ‘It is fantastic to win such an award especially as it is the Tenants who nominated the scheme. It has really put a great smile on all our faces.”
Camperdown Court, a Very Sheltered Housing development, consists of 27 flats with communal facilities. Built by Bield in 1997 it is one of 11 developments providing housing for older people in Dundee.
Established almost 40 years ago Bield is a leading provider of housing and care services for older people. To receive such an award is a real boost to the staff at Bield who pride themselves on providing high quality housing and services.
