Tenants and staff at Thornhill Court, Falkirk were thrilled to scoop an “Outstanding Achievement” at Beautiful Scotland’s ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ Awards. This is the third consecutive year Thornhill Court has inspired assessors to make this award.
The gardens are filled with flower beds, vegetable patches, wildflower gardens and rockeries. A lot of pleasure is taken from the gardens. They also provide an attractive and interesting view from within.
Special thanks go to David and Hilda Spender who live at Thornhill Court and work tirelessly on the gardens. Thanks also go to all the tenants who get involved.
Earlier in the year a pathway connecting the housing to the day care service was introduced. This allows greater social interaction for all at Thornhill Court
