High levels of Customer Satisfaction for BR24
A survey of Bield’s Community Alarm Service, Response24 has shown customer satisfaction with the service remains high when compared to the last survey.

94% of customers were satisfied with the service they receive from BR24 and 95% of customers said they would recommend the service to others. When asked what improvements could be made to the service 92% of customers could not think of any improvements needed to improve the service.

75% of customers believe one of the main benefits of the service is reassurance / good to know someone is there, with a further 14% indicating the service helped them to feel safe and secure in their own home.

An independent research company, Knowledge Partnership, conducted the survey on behalf of Bield. The aim was to explore customer satisfaction with the service. 616 customers were contacted by telephone during January to March this year. A mix of Bield tenants as well as customers of other RSL’s, Local Authorities and individual Private Subscribers were contacted.

The last survey of the Community Alarm Service was carried out in 1998. If you would like more information about the survey please contact Kathy Crombie / Merryn Forshaw Tel: 0131 273 4000.

Response24 currently provides a Community Alarm Service to more than 11,000 customers across Scotland. It has operated since 1988. Initially established to provide an emergency call facility for Bield tenants when the Scheme Manager was off duty the service has grown over the years to provide a broader range of services to a more diverse group of users.

Response24 is fully compliant with the Telecare Services Association Code of Practice for Social Alarm Services.(formerly ASAP).
