membership
Anyone who has an interest in the working of the Association can apply to be a Member by buying a share which costs one pound. This share gives lifetime membership and the entitlement to attend and vote at the AGM. Members receive copies of the annual report and the accounts of the Association.
The members of Bield elect the Board of Management which is responsible for the general policy and strategy of the Association.
We are keen to ensure the membership represents the communities we serve therefore membership applications are welcomed from:
- Tenants
- Service users and other clients
- Older people and those who care for older people
- People who can make a positive contribution based on personal or professional experience
Membership is open to nominees of unincorporate bodies, societies, companies and local authorities.
Tenant Members
We have a number of tenants who are members of the Association. All Bield tenants are eligible to become members of the Association.
