Bield’s Care Housing is similar to a residential care home.
Our aim is to provide all the facilities of residential care but on a small scale.
This small scale model ensures our care homes retain a homely atmosphere.
All our care houses are well designed and spacious with individual studio flats offering a minimum of 24 square metres of accommodation.
The main features of our care housing include:
- An individual self contained studio flat complete with en suite toilet and shower and facilities for making tea/coffee.
- Full meals service
- A full range of communal facilities such as a lounge, dining room and laundry .
- A high standard of personal care, such as housework, laundry, bathing and dressing, provided by Bield Staff
- Independence, privacy and dignity within a caring environment
Each care house has a dedicated staff team led by a local Manager who is responsible for ensuring Bield’s high standard of care is maintained at all times. Staff are employed by Bield and trained to very high standards.
Care housing is registered with the Care Commission. It is subject to regular independent inspections and reports, all of which are publicly available.
