Finavon Court Care House is located in the Pitteuchar area of Glenrothes, within easy walking distance of the local shopping centre, which includes a library, post office and community centre.
Local bus services are also located nearby.
Care Service
Care Housing - provides 24 hour personal care and daily living support in a well designed domestic type environment. The Service is registered with the Care Commission as a Residential Care Home.
Applicants
At Finavon Court we will consider applications from older people.
If you will be self funding your own care a Bield member of staff can visit you to determine if your needs can be met by care house staff in the accommodation provided.
If you will be receiving financial assistance it is recommended that a full Care Assessment be carried out by the local Social Work Department. This must recommend care housing as an appropriate resource.
Accommodation
The large flatlets each consist of a combined living and bedroom area with an ensuite toilet and shower room.
All accommodation has fully adjustable central heating and is carpeted.You may bring your own furniture and soft furnishings or Bield can furnish the accommodation for you.

It should be noted that those financing their own weekly charge may be entitled to the free personal care allowance from the local council. For those with limited income and capital, support may be available from the local Social Work Department.
Services Provided
The care house has a dedicated staff team employed by Bield.This consists of a senior team, care staff, a cook and a domestic. All work together to support you to remain as independent as possible, helping you in any situation where you need support, including personal care, laundry and social activities.
All meals and snacks are provided at Finavon Court.
Communal Facilities
The individual flatlets are clustered around a range of shared facilities that include a lounge, dining room and conservatory. There is a private garden and patio are for use by all care house service users.
Assessment Period
After allocation of the accommodation there is a six week assessment period to ascertain whether the care and accommodation can meet your needs.
