Fundraising is a vital part of our work. Here are a few examples of how the funds we raise improve the lives of our tenants.
Volunteers
We have a magnificent army of dedicated volunteers who add enormous value to the work of our staff and improve the quality of life for our tenants and service users. Fundraising is essential to allow our volunteers to be properly trained and supported.
Small Grants
We receive lots of requests, from our scheme staff, for anything from gardening materials to bingo machines. These types of activities really make our tenants' lives so much more enjoyable. Fundraising will allow us to continue with our Small Grant programme. Property Adaptations
We recently learned that our funding for essential Stage 3 Adaptations (works such as walk-in showers and improved toilet facilities) has been reduced. Last year, 97% of tenants said the adaptation made a big difference to their quality of life and ability to remain independent. Fundraising is vital if we wish to continue with our property adaptations.
