Volunteering

An hour a week could change your life and the lives of many others.

Would you like to make a difference to the lives of older people? Do you want to be more involved with your community, gain valuable experience and make new friends? If the answer is yes we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for friendly and fun volunteers aged 16 + to join our volunteer teams across Scotland. Teams that develop varied social activities at our developments to help reduce isolation and loneliness.

Perhaps you're musical, creative and love arts and crafts, a keen gardener or have IT skills. Maybe you’d just like to have a cup of tea and a chat. Your skills and hobbies could make a huge difference to the lives of older people.

We have volunteering opportunities in various locations, and times can be flexible to suit you.

You’ll gain valuable experience, develop new skills, meet people, have fun and give something back to your local community.

Out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The only cost to you is the time you give. We’ll provide training and ongoing support and you’ll have the opportunity to meet like-minded volunteers at our social events.

If you’ve never volunteered before don't be shy! We have a dedicated team to guide and support you along the way.

Ideally we ask for a minimum commitment of six months but we can be flexible to suit your circumstances.
