Bield Communications Champions

The Bield Communication Champions is an independent group run by tenants and supported by Bield.
They work together to influence and review communications between Bield and their customers to improve the services customers receive.
They meet with and speak to the Communication Team at Bield as well as other staff to influence future communications and review and update existing communication.
Background information
Bield Communication Champions is open to you if you area Bield tenant. We would love for it to be a balanced mix of all these; that way the group will have experience from all different types of service.
As a member on the Bield Communication Champions you will be asked to work alongside other tenants and Bield employees to review and influence communication Bield has with it’s customers. You will be meeting with staff, other tenants and possibly external groups to review planned communications and find ideas of how we can improve our communication.
The group is scheduled to meet quarterly, but if a particular project needs more meetings the group can decide this. We use a mixture of in-person and virtual meetings. No device to get online? Don’t worry, we will work with you to get you what you need.
This is one of the most common concerns tenants have when they are being asked to take part. It is not essential to have a particular skill set or experience to be part of the communication champions. The most important thing you can bring to the group is your life experience, something all of us have. This opportunity is open to all, regardless of background or career. All you need is a desire to help improve communications.
It will give you the opportunity to work alongside other tenants as part of a team and share your thoughts and ideas. And we hope it will be a fun and enriching thing to do!

As part of the Tenant Engagement Strategy, Bield are committed to putting customers first and working with tenants to improve communications.
We wanted a visual way of highlighting
- Tenants can get involved in communications (promote)
- Tenants have been involved in communications (assurance)
The Bield Communication Champions agreed a 'tenant checked' logo would be a useful way to achieve this ambition.
