Update for Staff: 07 July 2020

Thanks once again for your hard work during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We know you are very keen to get back to some sort of normality, and we have been working behind the scenes to help us move as quickly as we can through the route-map phases of lockdown release.

In preparation for the Route-Map out of lockdown, the Leadership Team has been working with colleagues and service partners to plan what each phase might mean for the services we provide to our customers, and what it means for you.

Get Tested

Anyone in Scotland aged 5 or over, who is self-isolating because they are showing symptoms can be tested.

Citizens’ Portal

If you have symptoms or a member of your household aged 5 or over is symptomatic, go to: www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test

You can choose whether to attend one of the testing sites in Scotland or, subject to availability, to have a home testing kit delivered to your home.  We recommend that you do not travel more than 90 minutes to reach a testing site.  If there is not a site near to you, then you should try to book a home testing kit.

Self-referral portal for workers

If you are a key worker or have to leave home to work, and you have symptoms or a member of your household age 5 years or over is symptomatic: go to https://www.gov.uk/apply-coronavirus-test
