Welcome to the My Bield customer portal!
My Bield allows you to access your tenancy information and a range of Bield services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
You can use My Bield to:
- view your rent account and download statements
- view correspondence from Bield and log enquiries
- receive important messages
- request repairs and track progress
Customers can also use My Bield to apply for a new home. This function allows applicants to:
- apply for housing anytime, anywhere
- view information and track application status in real time
- stay connected with us

Existing users can log in for immediate access to their My Bield account. If you are not an existing user, you must register in order to proceed. Please note, customers with an existing application DO NOT need to complete a new application form on My Bield. Details of the existing application will be visible when you log in to your My Bield account. If you experience any difficulties or cannot see any current application, please email customerportal@bield.co.uk
If you are creating a new application, please note that the application form may take a few minutes to load, and it may appear that nothing is happening whilst the form loads. We appreciate your patience with this step in the process. Once registered for My Bield, please ensure you only click the Apply for Housing button once. Repetitive clicking of this button will result in multiple duplicate applications being created and this may result in the processing of your application being delayed.
Read before applying - Frequently Asked Questions
Your password must include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character (e.g., !, @, #). Avoid repeating characters and try using a short phrase with a mix of symbols (e.g., BlueSky@79Tree!). Make sure Caps Lock is off and type it exactly the same when confirming. If it’s still not working, try resetting it.
Bield have no control over the captcha codes as these are generated by the internet browser. It’s important that you enter the same details otherwise the registration will fail. Please be mindful that sometimes number 1 can be misread as uppercase letter I, and uppercase letter O can be misread as number zero and vice versa. It may be useful to ask for assistace from either family member or friend to help you with interpretating the captcha code.
Ensure you save progress by scrolling down to the bottom of the form and clicking on the Save Progress button. Please refer to page 2 of the "Apply for Housing on My Bield" manual on our website for guidance.
When you log back in to your My Bield Account you should see a tile named "My Application", click on this tile, you should then see a button "Make Changes", click on this button, and allow the form to download, which can take a few minutes. You should now be able to progress with completion. Please refer to page 4 of the "Apply for Housing on My Bield" manual" on our website for guidance. Do not continue to click on the "Apply for Housing" button as this will only create duplicate blank applications which need to be cancelled down.

No - if you have already applied for Housing before 03 February 2025 and you have an acknowledgement letter there is no requirement for you to complete a new form in My Bield as your existing form will continue to be considered for vacancies that arise. Your My Bield account is just a useful way of viewing your Housing Application Details and any associated communications Bield have issued.
If you log out of My Bield and log back in you should see the status of your application has changed from "in progress" to "awaiting verification". You can submit supporting documents in your My Bield account by completing the "Housing Application Verification Form" . You can refer to the "Verification Documents in My Bield" manual on our website for guidance.
If you are submitting a joint application you need you will need to click on the plus sign symbol at the top left hand side of each section this will give you new fields to provide the joint applicant details. Please refer to page 7 of the "Apply for Housing on My Bield" manual on our website for guidance.
We are unable to add this new development to our form at the moment. You can either email applicants@bield.co.uk inbox to ask us to add Charleston to your development choices. Alternatively you can complete the "Housing Application Verification Form" in My Bield. You can refer to the "Verification Documents in My Bield" manual on our website for guidance.
